Dr. Ravi Anthony is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and is fully board certified. Ravi grew up in Mumbai (Bombay), India and is a 1999 graduate of the Governmental Dental College and Hospital of Mumbai. He then proceeded to complete his orthodontic training at the Governmental Dental College and Hospital of Ahmedabad. He served as lecturer at D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai for 3 yrs before starting his orthodontic residency here at UTHSCSA.
Ravi has been working as a Clinical Instructor here at UTHSCSA since August 2008. He works closely with the residents and is currently the principal investigator of a clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of an investigational device in increasing the rate of orthodontic tooth movement. He is also involved in private practice in the neighboring coastal city of Corpus Christi.
His hobbies include reading, writing, movies, traveling, dramatics, and cooking. Although far from his native India, he has extended family here in America, including two brothers and their families.
